The Dean of Students provides support for students and faculty at CSULB.

C.A.R.E.S Team

C.A.R.E.S stands for Campus Assessment, Response, and Evaluation for Students. (CARES) identifies, discusses, investigates, evaluates and monitors student behavior which poses a concern, potential threat or actual threat to self or others. Counseling and Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) helps students meet the personal challenges associated with identifying and accomplishing academic, career, and life goals. For more information access this link.

Student Emergency Support Services

The CSULB Student Emergency Intervention Program is a comprehensive initiative that identifies and immediately serves some of CSULB’s most at-risk students which include our displaced students, food insecure students and students experiencing an emergency situation or crisis. Disabled Student Services

Career Development Center

The Career Development Center (CDC) works with faculty and staff to provide an array of career-related services based on the shared goal of student success. This collaboration supports the student transition from campus to career.
